Bio: Professor Asaeda received a B.A. in Civil Engineering from The University of Tokyo in 1976, where he completed his M.S. (1978) and Ph.D. (1983).  Since that time he worked as a associate professor of The University of Tokyo, professor of Saitama University, and retired in 2019.  For his contributions, Professor Asaeda has received numerous awards, several times of Dam Engineering Society Prize, Japan Society of Civil Engineers Prize (JSCE), Karl Emil Hydraulic Prize (ASCE), etc. ……Learn more

Bio: Dr. Yee-chung Jin earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Water Resources Engineering) from the University of Alberta, Canada.
